Campbellford offers so-o-o-o much: resorts or B&B's. A dynamite arts scene, cycling, explore the scenic trails ... or just take in a show at one of our many festivals or events. Westben Arts Festival Theatre provides world class music in wide open spaces ... a very unique venue you won't want to miss. We have our own film theatre, Aron Cinema offering first run movies as well as live performances.  The Business Improvement Area (BIA) sponsors some fantastic events like the Antique, Classic & Street Rod Show & Shine (video from '05))and the Water Front Festival (News video).
 
Artists and artisans have congregated in the Campbellford area. We have Spirit of the Hills and Northumberland Arts and Crafts . Support your local creatives who are involved in all art forms and including the performing and visual arts, media, design, and literature.

We are home to one of the last cheddar cheese producing factories in Ontario, Empire Cheese, which is proudly run and owned by local farmers. Hoard's Station Sale Barn is one of the last Livestock Sale Barns in the area. Every Tuesday is "Sale Barn Day" ... the experience is one you'll remember. The second weekend in August is Campbellford Fair Weekend which gives us a showcase to bring our rural community to you in a fun, family-oriented way. For the ecological frame of mind, straw-bale experiments are under way in the "Hills".

Campbellford has it's own Hospital with a newly constructed Medical Center located right beside it. Our recently renovated Public Library is located in the middle of our downtown and is open to all.

Along with many unique downtown shops and eateries, Campbellford has alot to offer those who love to browse. Our Farmer's Market is open every Saturday morning with fresh local produce and baking. During July and August the market is also open Wednesday afternoons. The Meyersburg Flea Market and Williams Auctions are perfect places to go when antiquing or looking for just the right piece. After spending the day in town, drop by World's Finest Chocolate Factory Outlet , or Church Key Brewing for a treat before you go.

Sports and Recreation...

Come to the Campbellford area to enjoy golfing, fishing, hiking and biking. For the young at heart, skateboarding, in-line skating and bmx biking, lacrosse and soccer all have facilities locally.
Hockey has always been popular as shown through the support our community has for our Minor Hockey and Junior C teams. The Campbellford Curling and Racquet Club has curling, two squash courts, a raquetball court and an exercise room. Sign up for a season online!
